Our Process

 

 

Once the above requirement received with proof of payment, immediately your 4 company names will be lodged for reservation. It is important that spelling and preference are all correct as we are not liable for any correction after the names are lodged. The results of the name reservation generally take between 2-3 working days. 

 

Name Reservation results in verifying your company names in order from 1 - 4. each name will be verified through an electronic system that will either get approved or declined. Should the first name be declined, the system will verify the second name. therefore it is important that all four names are not similar to each other. 

 

Company Names may get declined by: 

 

The name preferred is registered to another business

The name preferred is similar to another registered business

Should all 4 company names be declined,  you will receive the results stipulating reasons for each name declined. You may apply for another name reservation which will be charged an additional service fee. 

 

Once Company Name Approved:

 

 

You will receive a name reservation number that reserves the company name for 6 months until you register the name to a new or existing entity. The company name will be permanently registered to your entity and no further name reservations will be required. 

If your name is not registered to a company within the 6 month period,  you may extend the name reservation for an additional 6 months at the same fee, otherwise, your name reservation will get expired.

 

What is a Name Reservation? 

 

 

A person may reserve one or more company names to be used at a later time, either for a newly incorporated Company or as an amendment to the name of an existing Company, by filing an application together with the prescribed fee. Once your name reservation has been processed, the name reservation number is available. It will be displayed on the receipt which will either be mailed to you or sent in an email message.
